    Arrived at 630 to the sound of country music playing on a quality sound system. Spacious 3 sided bar had ambient lighting with a clean warm appearance. Old wide board pine floors hosted a pool table with dart boards in the corner. Bartender was pleasant and attentive. Pub menu was well rounded with several craft beers on tap. Outside seating with simple iron rod tables overlooking the barge canal and a sidewalk with lots of benches and big boats docked for the night. A peaceful atmosphere at 830pm but the younger Thursday night crowd is currently filtering in. The pub entrance sits below an unattractive set of concrete steps descending from the street but don't let the appearance deter you from a nice pub experience. Worth checking out
